When we launched Sacred Legacy, we hoped there would be a handful of people who shared our passion for both Scripture and collectible trading cards.

 

What we didn't expect was the incredible response from believers around the world.

 

From pack opening videos and heartfelt messages to photos of growing collections and families opening booster packs together, we've watched this community begin to form around something much bigger than a collection of cards.

 

This is a personal recount from one of our Founder's Joseph to share the origins of how Sacred Legacy began.

A Simple Question That Started Everything

The idea for Sacred Legacy didn't begin in a boardroom. It started with my mother.

 

For years, she volunteered as a Sunday school teacher at our local church. After many of her classes, she'd often ask me if I could help find meaningful gifts for her students - something that would genuinely excite them while also encouraging them in their faith.

 

At the time, I was working as a graphic designer, and like many collectors, I'd grown up surrounded by trading card games.

 

Whether it was admiring the artwork, building decks, admiring flavour text, or opening booster packs with friends, trading cards had always been part of my life.

 

One day those two worlds collided and I asked a simple questions:

 

What if people experienced Scripture with the same excitement as opening a booster pack?

 

That single idea eventually became Sacred Legacy.

Bringing Scripture Into Everyday Life

From the beginning, our vision wasn't simply to print Bible verses onto cards.

 

We wanted every card to encourage people to pause, read the full passage of Scripture, admire beautiful artwork, and continue collecting the story of Jesus from beginning to end.

 

Instead of creating another fantasy universe, we wanted to celebrate the greatest story ever told. One that has changed countless lives for over two thousand years.

Built Slowly, One Step at a Time

Like many passion projects, Sacred Legacy began as something much smaller than what people see today.

 

It started with conversations among close friends and family. Late nights. Countless design revisions. Rewriting layouts. Learning an entirely new industry.

 

Over the years we invested our spare time, our creativity, and our resources into refining every detail before finally bringing Sacred Legacy to life. There were plenty of moments where we questioned whether anyone would actually care.

 

Thankfully, you proved us wrong.

More Than Cards

One of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been seeing how people choose to enjoy the cards.

 

We've watched collectors complete master sets, parents open booster packs with their children, content creators read Scripture live while opening packs and players using Sacred Legacy cards as tokens in their other TCGs.

 

Every one of those moments reminds us why we started. Our hope is that every card creates another opportunity for someone to engage with God's Word.

 

While we've celebrated the success of our First Edition, Sacred Legacy is only getting started.

 

We're continuing to improve the product, expand internationally, partner with artists, and develop future collections that continue telling the story of Scripture through beautiful artwork and collectible cards.

 

There is so much more to come. And we're incredibly thankful you're here for the journey.

 

We pray Sacred Legacy continues to inspire meaningful conversations, strengthen faith, and help people of all ages engage with the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.
